Welcome To Cub Scout Pack 179

Fun- With a Purpose!

Cub Scout Pack 179 in Coral Springs, Florida is dedicated to giving youth early opportunities for leadership and growth.  We're using fun, age-appropriate activities to bring out characteristics that are based in core values such as family, community, faith, personal care and fitness, and service.

Our program follows the Scouts, BSA guidelines for each grade level, beginning with Kindergarten and going through 5th grade.  Kids will work within their dens, grouped by age, to meet the rank requirements and advance each year.

Other pack-wide activities include camping, fishing, hiking, sports, community events, holiday events, and more. Cub Scouts is a family program.  Parent participation is not only encouraged, it's required for creating the best possible experience.  Siblings also often take part.

The safety of our youth is of utmost importance.  We follow ALL safety guidelines required by the Scouting program, and all adult leaders must complete Youth Protection Training certification every two years.  Our mission is to provide a safe environment for children to learn, grow, fail forward, and ultimately succeed.  Today's youth are, after all, tomorrow's leaders.
