Steps to become a Cub Scout in Pack 614

Contact the New Member Coordinator, Lindsey (Pack614information@gmail.com), by e-mail or using the contact us form on the right, then attend den and pack meetings.

Complete and SIGN the Cub Scout youth application and email the completed form to Pack614information@gmail.com. Or you may complete the youth application online here.

Pay dues: $180 covers all registration fees for the entire year. This includes Council, District and Pack fees.

Buy a uniform at Army/Navy store in Temecula or the CIEC Scout Shop in Relands. (Need: blue shirt, belt, CIEC patch, US flag, world scout emblem, den number, unit number, hat, neckerchief, slide, and handbook).

Volunteer as a parent. It is important to understand how events are planned and executed, and also show your scout an example of service to others. We have many defined roles and small committees you can help with right away. Leaders also get free in-person and online training. Complete the Adult Application to make the experience great!
Dues and Fundraising
Pack 614 dues are $155 per cub per year. This funds the annual BSA registration fee, insurance, a pack t-shirt, and a majority of the pack’s program costs. There is a one-time joining fee of $25. Our year-round pack programs include campouts, outings, Pinewood Derby, Blue & Gold banquet, as well as materials for advancement and awards, belt loops, pins, and rank badges. In addition to dues, we depend on fundraising and donations to pay for the balance of our program. Cub Scouting compares favorably with the cost of one season of a sport/activity, yet is year-round!
Uniform
Cub Scout and adult leader uniforms may be purchased at the Rancho Army-Navy store (27999 Jefferson Ave, Temecula, CA 92590) or online at www.scoutstuff.org. We also provide a t-shirt for each cub and sell families matching ones to show pack spirit.
